Civil Defence

The Dublin Civil Defence Unit assists the front line emergency services during times of natural disaster and/or major emergency.

The Dublin Civil Defence Unit provides support to Dublin Fire Brigade including crowd control, water rescue, fire cover and medical support at a range of events throughout Dublin city and county. The Unit also provides support during evacuations at nominated Dublin Rest Centres.
