Illustrated Talk: Dublin and Art 1880-1920

During this illustrated art talks series presented as part of the Hugh Lane Gallery’s off-site Explore & Learn programme, we will explore how artists have been inspired by the people and places of Dublin city from the 19th century to the present day as well as highlighting significant and influential artistic events that have occurred during this period.

Talks will take place in DCC public libraries throughout the city on Thursdays from October to December. For this art talk with Yseult O’Driscoll, taking place in Donaghmede Library on Thursday 4th December, the period of focus is Dublin and Art from 1880-1920.
