Pop-Up Book Club for Learners of English as a Second Language

Would you like to practice your English? Join us at Cabra Library for an informal Book Club for learners of English as a Second Language (ESL) on Monday 18th August at 6.30pm. 

We'll be chatting about 'The Second Child' by John Boyne.

In this story Alison Clark returns home to her father’s house in rural Wexford with her movie star boyfriend, Nick. It’s the first time she’s been home in years and there is a lot of tension in the house. Will father and daughter ever make up?

We have copies of the book to borrow here at Cabra Library. Bring your library card to borrow one to read before the book club.
