Summer Programme 2025: Create Your Own Manga Comic

Join us in Finglas Library on Monday 11 August at 2pm for a workshop with illustrator Amy Louise O’Callaghan, where you will learn how to create your own manga comic.
Ideal for fans of both Japanese manga and comics, this workshop focuses on the basic skills to get started in drawing your own. You will learn about panelling, layout, sound effects and speech bubbles, as well as taking part in activities to generate ideas for your comic. Participants will ideally finish the workshop with their own 2-page comic.
Suitable for children aged 7-12. Booking is essential, as spaces are limited.
