Asset Registry
Dublin City Council (DCC) has developed an interactive Asset Registry that lists its asset portfolio in the city, including ducting, street furniture and buildings that may be utilised to facilitate the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure.
How to use the Asset Registry
The Asset Registry can be accessed here
Start exploring the Asset Registry by viewing the Information tab where you will find some tips on how to use it. Layers can be turned on/off and some customisations can be made such as changing visibility range or transparency. The layers which are not visible from certain zoom levels are grayed out on the Layer List. If the layer is turned on but the assets are not visible you might need to zoom in further. Layer visibility can also be set depending on the zoom level by adjusting the 'Set visibility range'.
In order to view the Asset Registry, please note that you will need to download Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge browsers.
If you are interested in the particular asset, please contact the Telecoms Unit at [email protected] to allow us perform initial checks for availability and suitability. Please provide the asset details, for example; DCC-Public-Lighting-12839 along with information about intended use and requirements. Asset details can be obtained by clicking on the asset and copying the top line of information from the pop up window.
