Geo-Restricted Content and ePress Guide

Some newspapers and magazines on BorrowBox ePress can only be read while you are physically in the library. This is due to access restrictions put in place by the publisher.

You will see the following message when you borrow a geo-restricted title:

In-library reading only
The publisher of this title only allows reading within your local library. You can borrow anytime but will need to visit your local library to read it.

How to access these titles

Before you can read geo-restricted titles, BorrowBox will need to verify that you are at the library.

To verify through location services the borrowBox app needs to access to your precise location information.  You will need to grant the BorrowBox app permission to access your precise location.  Make sure that you have location enabled (under Settings) on your phone.

Please note: If you leave the library or disconnect from the library Wi-Fi while reading, the reader is closed.
