Studios and Rehearsal Spaces
Learn about the studios and rehearsal spaces supported by Dublin City Council.
The LAB

Through the Dublin City Arts Office, The LAB offers four large rehearsal studios for use by the arts community. These versatile spaces are suitable for rehearsals, workshops, auditions, classes, table reads, filming, photoshoots and a range of other arts-related activities.
Located on Foley Street in Dublin's North Inner City, The LAB Gallery is an eight minute walk from The Spire and a short distance from Store Street LUAS stop and Connolly Station.
Studios can be hired on a half-day, full-day, evening or weekly basis. You'll also have access to a kitchen which can also be used as a waiting room for auditions or shoots.
Richmond Barracks

Run by Dublin City Council Culture Company, Richmond Barracks in Inchicore is a former British Army barracks which was refurbished as part of a Dublin City Council Community Partnership. Today, it is home to a library, spacious gardens and various rooms available to hire for events and creative projects.
These spaces can be used for exhibitions, rehearsals, the development of creative projects, performances of any artistic discipline, filming and photoshoots. Visit the Culture Company's website to find out more.

Our studios are kitted out with a variety of recording equipment and software, including microphones, amps, speakers, cameras, greenscreens, LED lights, video editing tools and audio editing software.
These studios can be booked for 50 minutes to 2 hours and 50 minutes.
