Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin Cllr Donna Cooney and Dublin City Council would like to express their condolences to the family of the late Michael Donnelly, former Lord Mayor of Dublin, who has passed away.
Mr Donnelly held the office of Lord Mayor from June 1990 to June 1991.
As a mark of respect, the city flag is flying at half-mast on the Mansion House, City Hall and the Civic Offices.
Mr Donnelly was co-opted on to the Council on 5th July 1982 and served until 12th June 2009. He represented the Rathmines Electoral Area at the time and the South East Area.
