For the first time, Dublin City Council’s Brigit Festival – Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women – introduces a series of exciting late-night events. Brigit Late is taking place over three nights, the shows will feature some of the best-established female DJs from Ireland and around the world, including LOLSNAKE, Puzzy Wrangler, and Jezebel, among others.

The late-night events will be hosted at three iconic Dublin venues: The Grand Social, Wigwam, and The George Bernard Shaw – all renowned for their vibrant contributions to Dublin’s nightlife scene.

Running from 11pm until late, these events are a key part of Brigit Festival’s largest programme to date, which includes over 80 thematic events celebrating women’s contributions to culture, society, and history. The late-night shows promise to add an exciting energy to the festival, complementing its already dynamic line-up.

Ray O’Donoghue, Night-Time Economy Advisor for Dublin City, expressed enthusiasm about the festival’s growth: “We’re delighted to be involved in the Brigit Festival. In just its fourth year, it’s fantastic to see the festival embracing the essential role of late-night activity in Dublin City, with such a diverse line-up and top-notch DJs.”

Notes to the Editor:

The Night-Time Economy Taskforce was established under the Programme for Government in 2021, with 36 recommendations aimed at improving regulation, transport, planning, safety, and nightlife diversity. As part of this, Action 19 led to the appointment of Night-Time Economy Advisors in key Irish cities and towns. All Night-Time Economy Advisor initiatives are supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media.
