Live Temporary Traffic Management Notices
Works are complete on the East Coast Trail North Section 1. The scheme was fully commissioned on the 6 August 2024. Dublin City Council thanks the public for their co-operation during the course of the construction works.
February 2024: Works to take place between The East Point Business Park on Alfie Byrne Road and the Junction of East Road on East Wall Road
Resurfacing works will begin next Monday evening the 19 February on the East Coast trail. Works will be carried out over a 3 week period and will take place between The East Point Business Park on Alfie Byrne Road and the Junction of East Road on East Wall Road. Please see below sketch.
January 2024 - Closure of left-hand inbound lane on Alfie Byrne and East Wall Road
On Monday, 8 January works will begin on the islands at the corner of the East Wall Road and Alfie Byrne Road Junction. This will see the full left hand lane from East point Business Park to the East Wall Road junction closed.
On Tuesday, 9 January, the remaining left hand lane from the Alfie Byrne Road/East Wall Road junction to Church Road will be closed to facilitate the construction of the new traffic islands at the Church Road Junction.
