Community and Impact

Over 12 successful events, more than 70 business leaders from a wide range of sectors have contributed by sharing their growth journeys. Some of the businesses featured include Manna Delivery, iCabbi, Funky Monkey Foods, Bees on the Roof, Travelling Languages, Prints of Ireland, Kianda Technologies, Oishii Foods, Hairweavon, Hope Beer and Paddy Box, among many others. Their participation highlights the rich entrepreneurial spirit and diversity of innovation in the area.

Upcoming Event: Steering a Business in Choppy Waters
Join us on Wednesday, 10th June, at the Council Chamber in Ballymun Civic Centre for our next StartUp Ballymun event, themed “Thriving during uncertainty.” This event will feature a panel of small business owners who will share what they have learned to run a successful business in a challenging economic landscape.

We are also excited to welcome Gavan Walsh, former CEO and founder of iCabbi, as our keynote speaker. Gavan will reflect on his journey of how the idea for iCabbi came about through to launching, growing and expanding before a mega-money deal buyout by the Renault Group. In addition, The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) will also be there, offering mentoring and business support to attendees.
