As part of the Bastille Day celebrations in Ireland, the French Embassy in association with Irish cultural partners, presents a special French Film Programme from 1st to 14th July 2025 in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and online.
Dublin City Libraries are delighted to participate in this initiative by the French Embassy, celebrating French culture and marking the close friendship between Ireland and France.
On Tuesday 9 July, join us in Terenure Library for a screening of 'Juliette au Printemps' (Juliette in Spring).
Juliette goes back in her hometown to spend some time with her family. She finds herself between a loving but moody father, a New Age mother, a sister in the midst of an existential crisis, and a grandmother slowly losing her mind. Buried memories and family secrets rise to the surface in this sweet, tender and sometimes extravagant family portrait.
Featuring a fantastic ensemble cast, the charming new dramedy by Blandine Lenoir follows a young woman’s efforts to reconnect to herself and her family during an unexpectedly eventful trip home.
