Phase 2: Charlemont Street to Mander's Terrace (Ranelagh Luas Bridge)
This is the second of three phases of work that will be carried out as part of the Sandyford Clonskeagh to Charlemont Street (SC2C) Active Travel Scheme. It will provide 1km of improved walking, wheeling and cycling facilities from Charlemont Street, crossing the Grand Canal and continuing onwards along Ranelagh Road as far as Mander's Terrace. Design for this phase is scheduled to commence when Detailed Design for Phase 1 is completed.

Phase 2 of the SC2C scheme commences at Charlemont Street and terminates at Mander’s Terrace (Ranelagh Luas Bridge).

The scheme will provide high-quality, continuous, safe and accessible walking, wheeling and cycling facilities for people of all ages and abilities. Some of the key features of the project are listed below:
