Bealtaine Festival is Ireland’s national celebration of the arts and creativity as we age.
Here in Dublin City Council we have a fantastic programme for the month of May in libraries around the city. Check out all the Bealtaine events in libraries here

To give you a flavour of some of the events happening in the city's libraries check out the following:
Gaeilge agus Ealaín
Join Irish illustrator Catherine Geaney from Nine Arrow as she invites participants to design and make their own illustrated postcards while using the Irish language! It's an excellent opportunity to create something unique while practicing Irish in a relaxing environment.
Gaeilge agaus Ealaín is happening in the following locations:
- Charleville Mall Library, Wednesday 6 May at 2pm
- Drumcondra Library, Saturday 16 May at 10:30am
- Dolphin's Barn Library, Tuesday, 19 May at 11am
Get to Know Your Sewing Machine
Join Changes Clothes in Coolock library for a workshop about learning (or relearning) to use a sewing machine.
