Cruinniú na nÓg: Dream On

Times & Dates

Saturday 6 June at 11am

Celebrate Cruinniú na nóg at the Central Library!  ‘Dream On’ combines a live performance by circus artist Olivier Dietrich and violinist Jane Hackett, with an interactive workshop for children aged 8–12.

Places are limited so booking essential.

The performance follows two characters, a young student (played by Olivier Dietrich) and a strict librarian (played by Jane Hackett). Oliver is overwhelmed by all the books until he discovers a book entitled Dream On. The library then transforms into an imaginative space where books come to life and everyday objects become magical. Jane, the strict librarian becomes playful encouraging Oliver to have fun.

The performance will be followed by a workshop where children can explore music, movement and basic circus skills.
