As part of the Bastille Day celebrations in Ireland, the French Embassy in association with Irish cultural partners, presents a special French Film Programme from 1st to 19th July 2026 in Dublin, Cork, Dún Laoghaire, and online.
Dublin City Council Libraries are delighted to participate in this initiative by the French Embassy, celebrating French culture and marking the close friendship between Ireland and France.
On Wednesday 15 July, join us in Cabra Library for a screening of Treasure Hunters: On The Tracks of Khufu (Le Secret de Khéops).
What if the treasure of Khufu was discovered during Napoleon’s wars in Egypt and hidden secretly somewhere in Paris? To solve the mystery Christian Robinson, an archaeologist with unorthodox methods, embark on a great quest from Cairo to the iconic places of Paris. While he reconnects with his daughter and his grandson he neglected for too long, they will embark in a crazy race against a group of ruthless art smugglers…
