Rinne an Rialtas tailte a ainmniú an 21 Nollaig 2010 ag Gráinseach Ghormáin mar Chrios Forbartha Straitéisí (CFS).
Dublin City Council (DCC), at its meeting on 25th July 2011, decided by resolution to make the Grangegorman Planning Scheme. The Planning Scheme, together with modifications, was approved by An Bord Pleanála on 2nd May 2012.
