Our Quantity Surveyor (QS) team plays a wide-ranging role in advising upon and financially managing the City Council’s construction programme from inception to final completion, on a varied range of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects in the residential, commercial, leisure and municipal sectors.

QS staff members are encouraged to become members of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and to become actively involved in the Quantity Surveying Professional Group, as well as in working groups/teams within the society.

An in-house Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) team is in place within the Division and provides the requisite training to staff pursuing the attainment of Chartered status.

  • Project Management of the delivery of homeless facilities for the Dublin Region Homeless Executive
  • Acquisition of social housing through Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000
  • Provision of oversight on the delivery of social housing by the Voluntary Housing sector
  • Managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) roll-out with Dublin City Council.
