The Art of Breathing - Universal Class
Published on 9th December 2020

"The Capacity to learn is a gift
The ability to learn is a skill
The willingness to learn is a choice” by Brian Herbert.
Universal Class has over 500 online courses and I chose one from the Alternative Healthcare series called the Art of Breathing.
Who would have thought that we would need lessons on how to breathe! But as we get older we develop habits we didn’t even know we had, bad habits that are physical or mental in origin.
This course is five hours in duration and is divided into twelve short lessons ranging from physiology, to controlling your breathing, breathing and emotional health. Its aim is to provide you with the tools to improve your life through proper breathing.
The course deals with the benefits of breathing to your full potential and the understanding of the muscles involved. It is also important to be in the right mindset in order to re-learn and control your breathing. This is a powerful exercise which helps with concentration and focus. Also, following a breathing routine results in an improvement in mood and energy.
Controlling your breathing will help you to control your emotions and also to control yourself. It is important to realise the bigger consequences that result from the smallest actions and all this is down to the way we breathe.
With this course you can elect to study by video-mode only or you can choose to do exams and achieve a certificate.
So, if you are interested in expanding your knowledge of a particular interest or pastime or if you want a career change, there is something here to suit everybody on Universal Class.
Categories include Alternative Medicine, Career Training, Computer Training, Home-schooling, Pet Care, Teachers’ Resources, and Web Development.
Universal Class offers a unique online education experience. There are over 500 courses available. The courses involve real instructors to guide your learning, video-based lessons and certificates of achievement. You can learn in your own time, and at your own pace.
