Check out Freegal for tunes

In this crazy absurd existence that we are all living through at the present time, the need for distraction and diversion is essential. Music is something which we can use to relax and keep our sanity. In the eResources at Dublin City Library you can access music for free.
The eResource is called Freegal Music.
You click on Freegal and it brings up the home screen. Log in with your library card number and pin and you have the world of music at your fingertips.
It's like an Aladdin's cave of music.
All types and genre of music are available to be streamed. You can search for songs, groups, music videos, and even audiobooks. If you click on the browse icon on the left of the screen you can search for a particular genre of music e.g. country, rock, or you can look for a particular group or singer e.g. Abba, Kenny Rogers.
There is even a facility where you can create your own playlist and share it with the library. You can download up to five songs per week.
Freegal is a fantastic eResource. It's simple to use, has no advertisements, is completely free and the sound quality is excellent. All you need to do to utilise it is to join your local library.
