Dublin City Council produces a number of plans, planning polices, design guides, studies and other documents that identify and analyse various issues of relevance, in order to provide policies, objectives and guidelines for future development. These may relate to a specific geographical areas, or to a type of development (e.g. Shopfront Design). These documents are non-statutory. However they do assist in the implementation of statutory plans such as the City Development Plan. These include:
- Local Environmental Improvement Plans (including Village Improvement Plans and Village Design Statements).
- Development Framework Plans
- Public Realm Strategies and Masterplans
- Design Guides, Strategies and Other Studies
A number of documents are also available below for Information Purposes. These are documents or plans that were generally associated with former Development Plans or have been superseded.
