Rory O'Farrell's illustrated talk looks at some of the buildings and personages of Dublin in the period 1760-1820

Pembroke Library, in association with the Ballsbridge, Donnybrook and Sandymount Historical Society, presents an illustrated talk by Rory O'Farrell, looking at some of the buildings and personages of Dublin in the period 1760-1820.

Until retirement Rory O'Farrell worked as a designer, technician, photographer, and screen-printer in the Irish craft industry. A keen amateur antiquarian he has served as a council member of several historical and antiquarian societies. For almost forty years he has been an active member of the Cambrian Archaeological Association (founded 1846), the Welsh National Archaeological society. Since retirement he have been active as a speaker to several local societies, when not involved with his writings.
