National Public Libraries Open Day: Saturday 27 September

On Saturday 27 September, we're inviting you to Take a Closer Look at your local library. On this day, libraries will be showcasing some of the wonderful events and services they offer and everyone is welcome.
Whether its Lego clubs, book clubs, special sensory sessions, knitting groups, watching a movie with your family, or perhaps just borrowing a good book, we have something for everyone across our 21 branches.
Join your local library and avail of the many wonderful FREE resources on offer. Membership is free and there are no longer any fines for overdue items.
If you can't make it into the library on the day, consider joining online!
Make the most of the resources on offer with over 10.4 million items including books, comics, magazines, newspapers, eBooks, eAudiobooks, online courses, games, podcasts available across the public library service on the island of Ireland.
You can order books from any library in Ireland and have them delivered to your local library. You can return items to any library in Ireland too.
