With books nominated by 80 libraries from 35 countries, four novels by Irish authors are in the running for the €100,000 prize sponsored by Dublin City Council.

Following a successful competition, Aisling Breen has been appointed to the role and will start on Tuesday 4 February.

Social stories explain social situations to autistic children and help them learn ways of behaving in these situations. These stories are sometimes called social scripts, social narratives or story-based interventions.

The 2025 winners of Nollaig na mBan will be celebrated at Charleville Mall Library on Monday 6th of January 2025 at 2pm. Tickets are free.
