Pop-Up Outdoor Library at Wolfe Tone Square – A Mini Festival of Books and Creativity

Dublin City Council is pleased to announce a special series of Pop-Up Outdoor Libraries taking place at Wolfe Tone Square on three Saturdays in August. This exciting mini festival brings books, storytelling, music, art, and family-friendly fun to the heart of the city centre.
“Wolfe Tone Square Pop-Up Outdoor Library is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading, creativity, and community in one of Dublin’s busiest public spaces,” said Brendan Teeling, Deputy City Librarian. “Whether you’re a lifelong library fan or curious to discover what we offer, we welcome everyone to come along and enjoy the full library experience in the Dublin sunshine.
The packed programme will include storytelling, arts and crafts, face painting, sensory toys, live music, and a great selection of books to browse and borrow.
The Outdoor Library, hosted by Dublin City Libraries, offers a welcoming and inclusive space for families, children, and anyone interested in discovering what the public library service has to offer.
