Adopt a Street

Back to Getting Involved in Community Clean-Ups

The objective of Adopt a Street is to encourage businesses, residents and Dublin City Council to join forces to set a high standard of cleanliness in their local area.

Cleaning equipment such as blue bags, gloves and litter pickers will be provided on request and arrangements can be made to have the bags/litter collected by the Council when the cleanup is finished.

Where corporate businesses wish to carry out their corporate social responsibility blue blags will be provided and the Council will collect and dispose of the litter after clean-up.

Notice text

Please note that only waste in the blue Dublin City Council bags will be collected.

Where possible, all recyclables such as glass and cans that are collected during a cleanup should be taken to your Local Bring Centre for recycling.

To request assistance with a Community Clean-up, please contact your local Area Office via the document below.
