Trading Places: Images of Commercial Dublin

This gallery consists of images of commercial premises (e.g. small businesses, factories, banks) from the Dublin City Council Photographic Collection. We hope that these images will serve as memory triggers for Dubliners who may have worked or conducted business in these ‘trading places’.

• Irish Newspaper Archive: This online archive service gives access to contemporary editions of the Irish Independent and a range of other newspapers.
• The Ireland-JSTOR Collection: This online archive of academic articles can also be accessed free of charge at your local library.
