Below entities must apply to Dublin City Council Filming Office (Dublin City Film Office) for a drone take-off and landing approval:  

  • Professional film company looking to section off a piece of Council land to use for take-off and landing for a film/ production
  • Professional film company as above but will be taking off from private property
  • Part-time UAS pilots looking to capture stock footage, taking off from Council property, potentially commercial
  • Amateur UAS pilots looking to take a photo (legally) to post on Social Media.
