Dublin Fire Brigade Training Centre, also known as the O'Brien Institute, was acquired by Dublin Corporation in 1982. In 1984 Dublin Fire Brigade commenced its first courses for operational personnel, and it conducts its training here ever since.
Through its external training division, DFB External Training, Dublin Fire Brigade also delivers fire, medical and safety training to local authority staff, other fire services, companies and individuals, both at the training centre or off-site, as required.
Instructors are experts in their field and can deliver bespoke training tailored to your needs.
