Stage 3: Draft Dublin City Development Plan
In the third stage of drafting the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028, the Chief Executive reviewed the public feedback received in stage 2 and proposed changes to the draft plan in a report. This report was then presented to elected members of Dublin City Council for their review. Find the relevant documents below.
Chief Executive's Reports
Once the stage 2 public consultation ended, Dublin City Council's Chief Executive responded to the issues raised in a report with recommendations. He also published an addendum to this report to provide additional information and clarifications.
The Chief Executive's responses and recommendations were then reviewed by the elected members of Dublin City Council. Councillors submitted 526 motions following this report. The Chief Executive then created another report providing a response and recommendation to each motion that was received from Councillors.
Any motions that were agreed by the Councillors at a Special Council meeting held 5-7 July, 2022, saw amendments made to the draft development plan. The amendments that were considered to be material alterations were then placed on public display and the public were asked for their feedback. During the final stage of the plan's development, the final draft of the plan was adopted at a Special Council meeting on 2 November 2022.
Stage 3 Draft Documents
The following documents outline changes to the draft development plan that were approved at a Special Council meeting of Dublin City Council. These include the material changes that the public were consulted on between July and September 2022.
