Dublin City Council, in collaboration with The Temple Bar Company and DublinTown.ie reminds everyone to soak up the sunshine and the buzz of the city at this weekend’s Summer in Dublin events – a vibrant series of free city-centre experiences running across five weekends in July and August.
From pirate adventures to live music, markets, street food, and fashion showcases, there is something for everyone right in the heart of the capital.
Highlights This Weekend Include:
Pirates of Parliament Street
Back by popular demand! Parliament Street transforms into a lively, pirate-themed haven with Swashbuckling pirate actors, Live DJ, face painting, balloon modelling. There will be pirate craft stations, games, and photo ops. Perfect for families, this inclusive and creative community event is not to be missed!
Temple Bar Night Market
Extended evening hours every Thursday (2PM–8PM) and continuing Fridays and Saturdays (12PM–6PM). Browse handcrafted goods, artwork, and unique local creations. Enjoy the bustling evening atmosphere and support Dublin’s talented makers.
Live Music at Meeting House Square
Experience the energy of live performances in one of Dublin’s most iconic venues.
A dynamic programme featuring rock, pop, R’n’B, and traditional Irish music. A true celebration of Dublin’s musical diversity in an open-air setting.
Style in the City – Every Saturday
Taking over Henry Street (1PM–5PM), this fashion-forward activation runs for eight Saturdays through July and August. Free fashion shows spotlighting local retailers.

Sunday Markets on East Essex Street
