Statement on the death of Pope Francis from the Lord Mayor of Dublin

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, said
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. A humble servant, a voice for the vulnerable, and a tireless advocate for peace and justice, his legacy will endure far beyond his years.
On behalf of the people of Dublin, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Catholic community here and around the world.
