Stage 2 of the Development Plan 2022 - 2028
The draft consultation ended on the 14th February 2022 and over 4,300 submissions were received during this phase of the process. The Chief Executive’s response to the issues raised in the submissions has been prepared and his report with recommendations has been submitted to the City Council for the Elected Members consideration.
The members will consider the Draft City Development Plan 2022 – 2028 and the Chief Executive’s Report on submissions received at a Special Council Meeting to be held in early July. The members will resolve at the Special Council Meeting to make or amend the Draft City Development Plan. If any of the amendments are considered to be a Material Alteration to the draft plan they will be placed on public display for a four week period during which time further public submissions can be made.
Stage 2 commenced on the 25th November 2021 with the public display of the Draft Development Plan (Written Statement, including Appendices and Updated RPS), Environmental Report, Appropriate Assessment, Strategic Flood Risk Assessment and Maps.
You are now invited to get involved and give us your views on the Draft Plan and its associated documentation all of which can be viewed below. The public consultation period ends at 4.30 pm on the 14th February 2022.
