Samuel Beckett Bridge Openings
The Samuel Beckett Bridge links the Northside and Southside of the city over the River Liffey in the Dublin Docklands.

Samuel Beckett Bridge will close to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic on the following date to facilitate its fortnightly rotation.
- Saturday 7th June 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Saturday 21st June 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Tuesday 8th July 2025, from 21:00 hours until 22:00 hours
- Saturday 19th July 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Saturday 2nd August 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Saturday 16th August 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Saturday 30th August 2025, from 07:00 hours until 08:00 hours
- Actual opening time is subject to approval by the Director of Traffic and the Gardai, and will depend on local events in the area.
- The scheduled dates will change if the bridge is opened to shipping traffic during the two weekly periods.
- Note that the bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the times specified.

Construction commenced in May 2007 and the bridge opened to traffic on the 11th December 2009. The Beckett Brochure gives more information about this bridge.
