Apply for a Wayleave in a Park or Public Open Space
Wayleaves grant permission for utilities like pipelines, cables and other infrastructure to cross through parks or public open spaces.
Wayleaves are only considered in exceptional circumstances and are typically a last resort. Approval is subject to demonstrating an overriding strategic or public interest. Applicants must also ensure that works will have a minimal impact on the landscape, biodiversity and public amenity.
