Pop-Up Poetry Reading with Fiona Smith

Join Fiona Smith in Ballymun Library on Saturday 24 May at 2.30pm for a pop-up poetry reading from Travellers of the North and A Lemming Year, followed by a reading of the short stories, The 17th of May and Satellite of Love.

Fiona Smith is the author of A Lemming Year (Revival, 2025) and Travellers of the North (Arc Publications, 2022). Her work has been published in Southword, Poetry Ireland Review, The Stony Thursday Book and Hennessy New Irish Writing. She has contributed to anthologies including Washing Windows V: Women Revolutionise Irish Poetry, 1975-2025 (Arlen House) to be published in May 2025.

She has read at festivals including Derwent Arts Festival, Cork Spring Poetry Festival, Words by the Water and Kinsale Arts Festival. She has contributed to Sunday Miscellany and her poetry has been displayed in Fitzgerald Park, Cork.
