Unveiling Irish Language Songs

Join us in Pearse Street Library as Enda Reilly brings you on a musical journey through Irish language songs, from the traditional Sean Nós style to his own New Songs in Irish. This bilingual performance is perfect for those with little or no Irish, with translations to and from Gaeilge, and even some audience participation to get everyone involved in the experience!

Enda Reilly is a Dublin-born singer-songwriter blending original folk songs with traditional ballads in English and Irish. Now residing in Michigan, Enda performs at Irish festivals across the midwest including Milwaukee Irish Fest and Michigan Irish Music Festival. Male Vocalist of the Year 2024 with WDCB Chicago and a past winner of the IMRO Songwriting Competition, he co-wrote All Along The Wild Atlantic Way with Aoife Scott. His latest album Hy-Brasil explores Irish myths, history, and poetry, bringing old and new stories to life.
