The public consultation phase of our Part 8 application for a new library at 314-318 Crumlin Road is now open for submissions and observations.

New Library at Drimnagh

Dublin City Council has announced that plans for the development of a new library at 314-318 Crumlin Road have now gone to Part 8 planning consultation. 

The full submission is available on the DCC public consultation portal. 

Submissions or observations in relation to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made on this website before 23.59hrs on 15 January 2025.

Physical copies of the plans and particulars may also be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy for a period of 4 weeks from 25 November 2024. Any person may do this during public opening hours, which are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm, at the offices of Dublin City Council, Public Counter, Planning and Property Development Department, Block 4, Ground Floor, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.


A submission or observation may also be made, in writing, to the Executive Manager, Planning and Property Development Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, before 4.30pm on 15 January 2025.
