Dublin City Council is proud to announce that it is launching a new podcast titled ‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’ (Full title: ‘What’s the Story, Dublin? The Official Dublin City Council Podcast’).
The first episode of the podcast launches on Monday 10 March and will be available to stream on Spotify, Youtube, Apple and Amazon Music.
The podcast will explore the moving parts that make up Dublin City Council and highlight the services that it offers.
While season one of ‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’ will spotlight the main departments and sections of the Council, future seasons will explore different initiatives and events from the Council as well as life stories from those working there.
The first two episodes of the series will look at Smart Cities, including its role in the launch of the Portal, and Housing.
‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’ is hosted by Deirdre Molumby and produced by Michael Ryan and Deirdre Molumby, with sound and editing from Robert Fay.
Host and producer Deirdre Molumby says: “I’m so excited to be launching ‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’. I’ve had years of experience on radio and podcasts, and it has always been a dream to host my very own podcast. I believe ‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’ will explain the great work the Council does in an accessible way. I learned so much myself just from recording it. I want to thank senior management and everyone on the Communications team including my right hand man and tech extraordinaire Robert Fay. Now I just want people to check us out!”
The first episode of ‘What’s the Story, Dublin?’ releases on podcast platforms on Monday 10 March.
