Dublin goes Nocturnal with the return of the Late Night Venue Trail

Dublin City Council is proud to present the return of ‘Nocturnal Beats: Late Night Venue Trail’, following its hugely successful debut in 2024, brought to you by the City’s Night-Time Economy Advisor. 

On Friday, 19th September, Culture Night audiences are invited to journey through Dublin’s after-dark culture with a specially curated trail across eight of the city’s most iconic venues: block, Pygmalion, Wigwam, The Grand Social, Tengu, Whelan’s, Fidelity, and The Big Romance.

From live performances and intimate listening sessions to late-night DJ sets, Nocturnal Beats shines a light on the diversity, creativity, and community spirit of Dublin’s nightlife.

“Sometimes Dublin’s late-night venues don’t get the recognition they deserve. Nocturnal Beats is a way of highlighting the importance of these spaces within the fabric of Dublin’s night-time culture. The trail gives people the chance to explore several venues in one night – and the best part is, it’s all free admission,” said Ray O’Donoghue, Dublin City’s Night-Time Economy Advisor.

As part of Ireland’s biggest cultural celebration, the trail highlights the essential role of nightlife in shaping Dublin’s cultural identity while offering audiences the chance to see the city in a new way.
