Permits and licences to occupy road or footpath space

A permit or licence may be required from us beforehand if you wish to do something that occupies a public road or footpath.

Apply for a permit or licence to:

• Put a Skip on a public road where parking restrictions apply
• Build a Scaffold or Hoarding
• Position a Mobile Crane, Hoist, Vehicle or Equipment
• Dig up a road or footpath (Road Opening Licence)
• Close a road temporarily
• Transport an Abnormal Load by road.
