Dublin City Libraries have a varied and exciting programme of events for children and families during July and August. A feast of visual arts, drama and storytelling and dance awaits Early Years audiences this summer thanks to an exciting new partnership between The Ark and Dublin City Libraries.

As part of Plastic Free July, join us for Plastic Free Picnics and Summer Food, an online workshop hosted by well-known sustainability champion and chef, Rozanne Stevens. Discover some delicious ideas for your Summer picnics as well as helping the environment.
We have workshops for the science buffs out there; such as Space and Science, in conjunction with the Rediscovery Centre.
See what life would be like living under the rule of a Queen Bee! This workshop on bees will help you to understand how they live and work and their importance to our planet. Junior Einsteins will be hosting some exciting events such as, Cartoon Capers, Light the Lightsabre, and Lava Lamps.
Dogs Trust are going virtual for their library visits with Zoom Quizzes on how much you know about dog safety.
Other events include Brick Flick and Create Your Own Radio Show with Create School, Let’s See Ireland and Comic Making with Sarah Bowie and Bí ag Spraoi Liom le Sadbh Devlin. Discover the Magic of Music with Catherine Dunphy and sing along with Susan Rowland in her workshop Sing-a-Ling.
