Spring into Storytime this April
Published on 7th April 2022

Spring into Storytime is a national story-time initiative in public libraries which is running during the month of April. It celebrates the importance of families reading together and sharing stories. The theme this year is of ‘Friendship’.
During April, public library services around the country are championing children’s story-time sessions and invite children and their parents/carers to join in and experience the joy of lots of exciting tales! The sessions are completely free of charge.
As well as the enjoyment of the story-time sessions, stories and reading also help children to further develop their creativity and imagination. Storytimes are a fun activity that also support children’s concentration and communication skills.
Cliodhna Noonan has been booked as part of the Little Library Friendship initiative but these places are booked for lucky local ELCS. See more events below and keep an eye on our social media. Also, we look forward to the super exciting video made in Dolphin's Barn Library: filming a storytelling event for the Friendship bags initiative!
