'Constellations' transforms George's Dock in Dublin 1 for five nights

Dublin City Council is delighted to launch 'Constellations' by Studio Lemercier, Juliette Bibasse and Joanie Lemercier as part of the 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' festival.
'Constellations' can be seen at George's Dock in Dublin 1 from 4.30pm to 10pm, Wednesday 11th December to Sunday 15th December.
This light installation projects light on invisible water particles to form shapes and intangible structures in the air. It’s an abstract journey through geometric structures, moving from the heart of a black hole into deep space, travelling through planets and stars.
“We are delighted to launch ‘Constellations’ this evening,” said Simon Clarke from Dublin City Council’s Events section. “It’s part of the ‘Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ and really is a fantastic addition. It’s also free to view, so come on down and check it out!”
Speaking at the launch, Xavier d’Argoeuves, Cultural Counsellor, French Embassy in Ireland, said, "The French Embassy is thrilled to partner with Dublin City Council to bring French digital artist Joanie Lemercier's mesmerizing Constellations to Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights. This collaboration highlights the strong cultural ties between France and Ireland and showcases how art and technology can inspire and engage audiences. Through initiatives like this, we aim to further strengthen these bonds and encourage dynamic, innovative partnerships between our two countries."
