Light up with Dublin City this festive season!

Dublin City Council has provided local communities across the city with around 30 Christmas trees that are sure to add that ‘Christmassy’ feel.

Lights on the trees will be switched on during a number of local ceremonies starting this weekend and continuing over the next 2 weeks. From Ballyfermot to Kimmage, and Terenure to Santry, the festive spirit will soon be ramping up right across the city. 

“It’s almost that time of year,” said the Lord Mayor of Dublin James Geoghegan. Dublin at Christmas is very special, I love the feel of it. Bring the family along to your local tree-lighting ceremony and have some festive fun!”

Some of the tree-lighting ceremonies will also include a visit from Santa as well as carol singing.
