What We Do

Dublin City Council manages over 120 parks and green spaces of various sizes across the city.

These parks provide recreational, cultural, environmental and social benefits to Dublin city. They feature playgrounds, sports facilities, art and nature trails, seomra tae (tearooms) and play host to many local and national festivals and events throughout the year.

The Office of Public Works (OPW) is responsible for a number of parks in the city including St. Stephen's Green, The Phoenix Park, Iveagh Gardens, National Botanic Gardens and the Irish National War Memorial Gardens. For more information on these parks visit the OPW website.
