St. Catherine's Park
Some parks with a large number of gates will start to close half an hour before the above times to allow enough time for all gates to be closed at the designated hour.
St. Catherine's Park sits on the grounds of St. Catherine's Church on Thomas Street in Dublin's city centre. The park was previously a burial ground.

History
St. Catherine's Park was formerly a cemetery which dates back to 1552. The whole area is steeped in history and is well remembered for Robert Emmet's execution in front of the church on Thomas Street in 1803. Burials ceased in 1894 and the cemetery was handed over to Dublin Corporation in 1969.
