Notice text

Following the recent changes in the East Link bye Laws a system has now been put in place which automatically charges a zero fee for a 5+ axle vehicle going through the toll bridge during the main cordon hours of 07:00 – 19:00. This system is now operating and as such from now the 5+ axle  vehicles will show a zero charge on statements from March onwards.

Accordingly the HGV rebate scheme will cease from the 30th of June 2022 and no claims for rebates will be allowed from that date so please ensure that any claims you have in accordance with the terms and conditions  are sent promptly for processing.

It should be noted that if any 5+axle Vehicle is identified within the cordon areas during their hours of operation without the correct permit, then they will be removed from this zero charge  scheme and will be charged the full toll rate at the Eastlink so please ensure that all trucks have the correct permit.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that all the wheels are in contact with the ground  as they approach the toll plaza as again no claims for rebates will be processed.
