Other Plans

Dublin City Council produce several plans, planning polices, design guides, studies and other documents that identify and analyse various issues of relevance, before establishing and setting out guidelines for future development.

These plans may relate to a specific geographic areas (e.g. Rathmines' Local Action Plan), or to a type of development (e.g. shopfront design). These documents are non-statutory. However they do assist in the implementation of statutory plans such as the Dublin City Development Plan.

These include:

•Local environmental improvement plans (including village improvement plans and village design statements)

•Development framework plans

•Public realm strategies and masterplans

•Design guides, strategies and other studies

A number of documents are also available below for information purposes. These are documents or plans that were generally associated with former development pans or have been superseded.
