Dublin City Council Sandbag Policy.



The City Council does not provide or distribute sandbags to individual premises at risk of flooding. The prime responsibility for the protection of such premises rests with the owners of those properties.

How do I protect my property during a flood?

The Office of Public Works (OPW) is co-ordinating Ireland’s whole of Government approach to flood risk management. You can get practical advice nohow to protect your home and other safety measures, on the OPW flooding website.
